Taking part in a Ceilidh wasn't really up there when it came to the things i wanted to do before i die, but i am so glad that i did it. It was so much fun. One of my work colleagues was leaving and as part of his send off, he hosted a Ceilidh. It really was an experience. We had a traditional Irish band hosting the event, who have a Caller; he/she leads the dance by literally calling out the moves. I had such a great time. Coordinating the moves was a nightmare and it did get to the point where we had more fun getting it wrong rather than right. I would definitely recommend anyone to attend a Ceilidh!
